Which side was healthier?
Liberals love to make the comparison between socialist Europe and capitalist America, but Germany is a much better comparison because the two sides were initially the same and took divergent paths. Whereas America and Europe were initially different and are taking the same path.
America is not capitalist. It is in fact the most socialist country in the world in terms of health care spending by the government per capita. There is no difference between systems here and in Europe. We just have tighter regulation. For example in Switzerland, health insurance is mandatory like it is here, but their health insurance doesn’t include AIDS (self inflicted) and drug rehab (with a success rate of zero) and psychiatry (uninsurable) and birth control pills (nothing to do with health). It’s a base level of insurance and if people want more they can choose to add on. We used to have that in America. It was called catastrophic coverage. Obamacare outlawed catastrophic coverage, although some of the mandates had already been in effect at the state level.
As an aside, neither considers nutrition to be part of health care, surprise surprise. That should be conspicuous to liberals but it isn’t. The vegan death cult still isn’t welcome through the front door and is still using wartime rationing laws and sin taxes to displace farm butter with industrial margarine, on both sides of the Atlantic.
What’s worse is when liberals describe Europe as specifically having universal health care. Europe does not have this specific form of socialism. Only England does. I think liberals don’t even know the difference between Europe and England but they start with the same letter and are located next to each other geographically, so it must all be the same over there, just like all those Middle East countries are bedowan or something. Why are liberals so arrogant about their own ignorance? Universal health care is what you normally find in the impoverished countries that send us their immigrants. Central America and Africa. When you have industry like America and Europe, mandatory private insurance regulated like a utility, the facsist variety of socialism, allows you to export your tyranny and so is preferred.
Back when America had capitalist health care, health care consumers were much more savvy. They didn’t all have obesity and heart disease. The kids didn’t all have a patchwork of autoimmune disease like asthma. Health care is the reason we’re sick. Do you realize that people with diabetes are told to eat high sugar diets? Everyone is told to eat the food pyramid, but it is supposed to be emphasized for people with diabetes. That is official medical consensus. I’m serous. It’s outrageous actually. How can any liberal be so slovenly as to suggest health care shouldn’t be illegal?
As for East and West Germany, I don’t actually know anything about them and am curious about the real answer. But I know enough to know that I don’t have to know. I know that when liberals read this, instinctively their bodies clench deep down because they already know as I do that East Germany was probably not as good as West Germany, and that’s enough. That natural instinct is what takes over when liberals don’t have any boilerplate rational from their news media. It’s off script. Now we know how you parasites really feel about socialism. By the way, Hillary lost.
