The big fuss made about active female athletes starting families/being young mothers, as if that's something to be proud of. I thought it was about making sacrifices? Being elite? Etc?

So you have a problem with young women in their physical prime getting in relationships and fucking? That seems a weird hang up to me...
If they're competing at the Olympics and, in many cases, winning medals then clearly forgoing starting a family is not a necessary sacrifice for athletic success.
If you're saying you don't give a shit one way or another and you find the virtue placed on it in the coverage insufferable: fair enough.
