I like his little video about the show, but I hated the show (bearing in mind that I wasn't the one who had it on, I was just in and out while the family watched it.)

Nuke the entire site from orbit; it's the only way to be sure. It really did give me this whole Dexter vibe. I almost mentioned Dexter. The difference that stands out to me is that Dexter, although theoretically a psychopath hand-reared by his dad to do good deeds with his killing, is not himself a thoroughly unlikable self-righteous cockbite. I assume that no viewer can stand Joe for more than 5 minutes, but maybe that's just me. I guess he might be a masterful spoof of a woke Millennial, but it's such dead-on parody that I don't want to watch, I just want to go out and get a latte and some avocado toast on artisanal sprouted bread and read an old copy of Dostoevsky until I myself get the urge to kill someone. |
