Yeah, I heard something about this. It was a Project Veritas style sting where they send a chick with a hidden camera on a date to prod some guy into saying whatever they want to hear because they think they can get laid out of it.
Always a big shrug from me.

Always a big shrug from me. I believe that's the spin he was taking as well per his statement. Would be interesting to call him to the stand on appeal to first answer if others had ever been brought to trial for the same thing and, then why he did...was there political pressure, etc. Regardless of cover, this was brought up in a press conference yesterday so now the cat is out of the bag. |

Now now...its not a time for your usual projection, Bartles. The real question is...how this confession/honesty from the Supervisor from the Department of Justice Chief of Public Affairs in NY won't be used during appeals. With there already being grounds due to the lack of precedent, would love to see him on the stand. If they ask for other cases brought up, it shows a double-standard in the application of the law. Granted, we all know it was politically motivated but it wasn't common to hear an official with insight to admit it. |

This will not be used for anything in court because he has no connection to the case and isn't even in the same specific district. Complementing that, he has the "cooze tricked me" defense so he's not even going to cop to it on the stand. He'll just say he lied to get laid. |
