While I'm never fully confident about the Storm in finals, Cronulla just do not beat good teams and haven't for the past 3 years. Nicho's up and down and the Sharks fortunes mirror his performances more often than not. Melbourne have home field, are playing well, and shouldn't need to resort to the grinding tactics they often use in these games.

Perfect start by the Sharks: they knocked on the opening kick off and then conceded a try from the 3rd play of the game...

Well. Extraordinary first half where Melbourne absolutely dominated but Cronulla scored the only two times they had decent territory to keep the lead to just 4 points. Storm 14-10. Sharks outgunned but have given themselves a chance.

Impressive second half from Melbourne where they really cashed in on their territory dominance on the first half. Very poor performance from Cronulla in attack. Defended well at times in the first half.
37-10 the final.
