If that movie existed I would watch it. It does! It even has The Hoff in it!

I happen to be an expert on this genre. Here are the best possible picks.
50's and 60's: The War of the Gargantuans (inspired parts of Kill Bill 2) Godzilla The Creature From The Black Lagoon
70's and 80s: The Legend of Boggy Creek (Documentary style about Bigfoot in Arkansaw. Underrated film) Alligator (a parody of Jaws) Slugs
90s and 2000s: Deep Blue Sea (surprisingly holds up well with many twists that stand the test of time) Dagon (HP Lovecraft inspired film.) The Edge (more thriller than horror, but it's good)

It's about a bear that is stalking a group of campers down.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) Deep Red (1975) Child's Play (1988) Jacob's Ladder (1990) Donnie Darko (2001) Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) Slenderman (2018) Do any of those movies feature a monster or creature? Rejected at first glance. Only the last one, but I haven't seen it.

Oh boy, this is more to my liking. I like big creatures. I love to walk out and find them and Aaaaagggghhhh!
Nominations: I so much hated limiting it to just three and leaving out the classic War of the Worlds 1953 and Tarantula, but these were even more fun.
50s and 60s: This is the best era of sci-fi movies of course Them! 1954 (James Arness isn't the monster) Attack of the Giant Leeches 1959 (Yvette Vickers steals the show in a supporting role) The Unknown Terror 1957 (rare case in which a handicapped person is the lead character in an action movie. The creatures are scary things in a cave)
70s and 80s: From Beyond 1986 (the evil guy is even scarier than the creatures) The Day it Came to Earth 1977 (perfect spoof and fun and still teenagers against monsters film, with some classic lines) Humanoids From the Deep 1980 (iconoclastic style monsters)
90s on: The Beast 1996 (I think Benchley's characters and creature here are even more interesting than Jaws) King Kong 2005 (2nd best of the Kong films. First is "Son of Kong" of course) Starship Troopers 1997 (would you like to know more?)

Yes, that was going to be one of my picks. I remember watching it at a creature feature slumber party in the early 1970s. My wife and I have quite a collection of old hammer films and some other old classic and B horror films we watch all october
