Do any of those movies feature a monster or creature? Rejected at first glance. Chuckie's a little monster.
he took a stab at it.

Oh boy, this is more to my liking. I like big creatures. I love to walk out and find them and Aaaaagggghhhh!
Nominations: I so much hated limiting it to just three and leaving out the classic War of the Worlds 1953 and Tarantula, but these were even more fun.
50s and 60s: This is the best era of sci-fi movies of course Them! 1954 (James Arness isn't the monster) Attack of the Giant Leeches 1959 (Yvette Vickers steals the show in a supporting role) The Unknown Terror 1957 (rare case in which a handicapped person is the lead character in an action movie. The creatures are scary things in a cave)
70s and 80s: From Beyond 1986 (the evil guy is even scarier than the creatures) The Day it Came to Earth 1977 (perfect spoof and fun and still teenagers against monsters film, with some classic lines) Humanoids From the Deep 1980 (iconoclastic style monsters)
90s on: The Beast 1996 (I think Benchley's characters and creature here are even more interesting than Jaws) King Kong 2005 (2nd best of the Kong films. First is "Son of Kong" of course) Starship Troopers 1997 (would you like to know more?)
Seen Starship Troopers at least three times but all i remember about it is the Co Ed showers.

Starship Troopers is not a creature feature. Okay. I thought it was, with the giant insects. But I'll abide by the rules. Do the rules mean just "one" creature instead of multiple ones? If so, some others of mine would be disqualified: Them!, Attack of the Giant Leeches, The Unknown Terror, From Beyond, Humanoids. The only ones that feature just one monster on my list are "The Day It Came to Earth", "The Beast", and "King Kong".

Creature features usually are also horror films but can be horror/sci-fi like Alien.
