Another delightfully retro match up of the two clubs who dominated the 1970s. The silver tails vs the Slightly weaker silver tails.
This has a different set of dynamics to the other semi where the loser looked really bad last week and the winner looked really good. In this case the Roosters weren't that bad against Penrith and Manly were good last week but were outplayed for most of the game.
The two factors here are 1) The Roosters are banged up and not running at full power and 2) Manly have barely strung two good games together all year.
Ultimately I believe in Robinson and Tedesco so I'll back them to pull a rabbit out of their asses here and book a purely ceremonial prelim final berth down in Melbourne.

I’m more confident of a Manly win here.
The chooks are running on fumes….and their pack really struggled against Penrith and Manly have a bigger one.
DCE will, on the back of that, kick the roosters to death.

Manly playing like absolute dog shit so far. Floating 20m passes to no one, missing tackles, defending as though they've never seen an offload before and have already resorted to the short kick off down 20-0 before half time.
Basically this is what we've seen all year from Manly after a good win: a shit performance.
Well, they have gone over to make it 20-4. Garrick missed a fairly low difficulty conversion attempt though.

I know they've lost players early due to HIAs but that was complete garbage from the Sea Eagles tonight. Did everything they could to make Teddy's night on his 250th (Congrats btw). 40-16 your final.

Jeez Manly were shyte. Their forwards vanished, and they couldn’t hold onto the pill.
Sandon Smith looked, not for the first time, a very handy option at 7.
