I avoided the "semi final" trap with picking the Roosters last week. No prelim final traps that I'm aware of. Storm have been the best team over the course of the season and earned a home final. Roosters are missing a lot but always have a crack. A team still featuring 12 internationals, including one of the all time greats in Tedesco with a 3x Premiership coach can never be completely dismissed.
All that being said, Storm have been better than the Roosters all year and I think they advance in front of their adoring fans.

Melbourne simply too good….although I cannot completely discount a Chooks win. Melbourne by 8.

Roosters worth a flutter at $3.60 I reckon. Not even $4 can tempt me with the Sharks. If they drift out to $5 maybe time for a sneaky tenner.

Melbourne ran away with it in the end, but for the 2nd time in 3 weeks the Chooks got a really dodgy call against them just as they looked to be really gaining ascendancy……

But it was also the 2nd time in 3 weeks that they got themselves in a match position where they needed to be perfect and for everything to go right. Don't give up the big starts and you have a lot more margin for error. |
