Kim Wilde has been working on a new studio album with the working title 'Closer' (scheduled for 2025), which initially led to rumours it might be a companion piece to the album 'Close' (1988). In reality, it's a follow-up to 'Here Come The Aliens' (2018). See the Cherry Red Records website for details/.
Wilde revisited several older songs successfully with her album 'Never Say Never' (2006) which allowed her to strip down some of her 1980s productions to the kind of raw punkadelics that infused her early career.
