Abortion and birth control he has explicitly distanced himself from the Christians on . Sounds like you've been smoking the DNC crack that's been going around. Not serving people belonging to other religions or sexual orientations based upon religious beliefs. Even if one disagrees with it, in a free nation private business owners should have the freedom to discriminate. Not talking about public services such as the police and fire department. But working out of your home-based business or owning your own company.. do what you want. A lot of people (not you) often misunderstand this premise and believe its justifying discrimination. Some may or may be correct but that's besides that point. A lot of people don't agree with pornography.... fine....don't buy it. A lot of people may not agree with a private business owner's product or practices....fine..don't support it. Agreeing that people should be allowed to provide services in a way they seem fit is their own prerogative and is not an endorsement of said activities. |

If someone comes in my shop and says their sexual orientation is being a pedo, I should be able to discriminate against them. He doesn't have to. He just has to pass a law and get his stacked Supreme Court to declare it constitutional. |

Once they realize it, they will reject it…I hope…before it’s too late. On the upside, this Christian Nationalism will effective destroy Christianity once and for good. I'd be happy if it just forced Christianity into pockets, like the Amish. They live their religion, but don't expect the rest of the world to follow along. No Amish people show up at my front door with leaflets. They keep their very restrictive world view to themselves. Live and let live, people... If you are against abortion, don't have one. If you are against alcohol and drugs, don't use them. If you think women should be subservient to men, that's your right to believe. Just don't impose this on others. If the rest of the world wants to go to hell in a handbasket (in your opinion), let them. That is what the USA is supposed to be about, freedom of choice, within a secular set of laws for the social well-being. Let the secular laws of the land preserve a safe place for everyone to be themselves. Bad guys still go to secular jail in this country. I just wish we could go back to the year before Jerry Falwell, et al, realized they could become the Masters of Universe via the US Federal Government by marrying American conservative ideology with fundamentalist Christianity. In 1975, no one wanted to highjack a public high school football field in order to praise and evangelize for Jesus. Christians were not being prevented from publicly evangelizing. Look how popular Billy Graham was. No one stood in his way to save souls and he didn’t tell people who to vote for. Christianity has always had a lot of influence in our government because almost all the people sent to all three branches were Christians, but they understood separation of church and state. And when the church states got out of line, the courts stopped them. But these particular Christians have got it in their heads, they and they alone, have the right to decide wh at we are all going to do from now on. They have declare by their own fiat, with zero evidence God of the Christian Bible exists, his law supersedes our civil laws and rights we’ve fought over for 250 years. According to Speaker Johnson, the Bible has all the answers we need. If we as a nation live as commanded by Bible Law, then things will become almost perfect. No one will be jobless or homeless. We will not need any type social safety because we will all be working in charitable unison. Is this isn’t Christianity, it’s political cult. |

No one's complained, except for a few right wingers that post TL;DR.
