That sort of curriculum has no business in a public school in a liberal democratic society.
And it's for elementary schools too. This is grooming in every sense of the word weaponized against the LGBT community.
Get ready for “Better than Islam!”. A forced dichotomy is the escape hatch for the not-terribly-well-hidden desire for religion in publicly funded schools.

That is outrageous. Hopefully it will be challenged all the way to the Supreme Court, where it will be killed without mercy.

I'm glad you love it, but if you hate it, that's fine too. I don't have kids so it really doesn't impact me. I just find it amusing that today's "cons" want government giving their children their religious upbringing while bitching incessantly about government indoctrination. It's almost like they don't have a clue or they're remarkably stupid, since government takeover of religion has never worked out well..if you enjoy having rights. Objecting to indoctrination often seems to be very much in the same vein as objecting to big government for many: it’s really more a “I prefer this flavor of it” than any real objection. Like the family values party voting for a philandering pussy-grabber without pause… it’s just so many words. At the end of the day the test is in the action.

That is definitely a concern, and one which I have been trying to alert people to for many years.

That is outrageous. Hopefully it will be challenged all the way to the Supreme Court, where it will be killed without mercy. Can LGBT lessons also be killed without mercy too killing any hopes for a sequel? Kids will likely die of boredom from "bible lessons" anyway. Don't do that to kids.

Will they be using Trump bibles? Almost certainly not. Any bulk book purchaser can get way better product cheaper.

Might as well get it in before the Muslims do. In the State of Texas? Ignorant.

Maybe the LGBT community would be happier living somewhere else. I love how conservativism now means WANTING government giving your children their religious indoctrination. I want to see the lesson plans, though I can imagine what they’re like. The Earth was created in six days, therefore science that says otherwise is of the Devil.

If they feel even an inkling of an obligation to the constitution, they will have to vote for stopping public schools from offering Bible lessons.
