Fine, thank you. Playing lots of squash, enjoying the summer and the continuing soap opera of British politics we seem to be in. How about yourself? Good enough. I've got a stomach ulcer which has made it difficult to do anything too physical and that's sucked some of the wind out of my sails. It's no fun feeling infirm and being limited. But that's just how it goes. If life weren't a challenge at times, it would be boring and unsatisfying. I've been contemplating throwing my hat into the ring on video game and film analysis videos, if for no other reason, to practice and refine my writing and speaking skills, alongside the technical elements like video and sound editing. I think it would be cool to work out a project and give my opinion on something in that sort of format. Fuck knows if I'll actually do it, though. And, of course, I've been enjoying the soap opera that is American politics. But I think we beat you to the punch there. |

Sounds interesting, I like to have a side-project to be working on to keep away the totally depressing thought that sitting in an office doing boring shit day after day is all there is in life. I get up at 5 on week morning and do 3 hours on my own thing (or 2 hours plus 1 hour squash game). Keeps me sane. Sorry about the ulcer, hope it clears fast. Avoid Hux's posts, they'll just make it worse. |
