I was raised Catholic. But I am not Catholic anymore. Just non-denominational. I don't know what SOF means. www.quaker.org/

I thought 'effect' was important. Handsome girl, isn't she? Yeah, we get it The Trashcan Man. You are childish and immature. And you don't like the subject material. So you are trolling us with this stupid picture trying to kill the discussion. Thanks a lot. Piss off, movielicker if you don't have a sense of humor.

They don't want to change the gender of God, just remove references to it.

They don't want to change the gender of God, just remove references to it. It doesn't say that in the articles. They say they don't like referring to God as He.

Seems pretty clear to me: Guardian: The Church of Sweden is urging its clergy to use gender-neutral language when referring to the supreme deity, refraining from using terms such as “Lord” and “he” in favour of the less specific “God.” Independent: The Church of Sweden has urged its clergy to use more gender-neutral language when referring to God and to avoid referring to the deity as “Lord” or “he”. Don't say anything about changing gender, just avoid referring to it.

Both articles clearly state they want a move to gender-neutrality, i.e. not to mention gender, rather that change the gender you claimed.

This is an issue that is not worth devoting a moment's time to in Sweden. Fretting over micro-social justice accommodations in a dying church within a country that will be in retrograde on all gender issues in just a few short years (due to demographic change) is worthless and weak-minded. They need to grow up and talk about things that matter or just stop talking.
