My father in law to be was 16 at the time and was one of the first people who rushed to help try and dig out anyone still alive. I exist purely due to my mum's dislike of school food. Fate is fickle.

Catford looks like they still haven't bothered fixing the damage. Haven't been there since I worked at the Rushey Green job centre about 30 years back. It was a shit hole then but I hear lately that it is getting spruced up with new shopping centre etc. |
