No Dollars Trilogy? Shame on you.
Sergio Leone's Dollars Trilogy is cinematography at its best, movies way ahead of their time, particularly the third one in that series, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. His style of film-making brought Westerns to life.

Without The Good the Bad and the Ugly, High Plains Drifter and Pale Rider this poll is meaningless.
And you forgot Brokeback Mountain too.
I refuse to vote.

Not a lot to choose from here. No "Heaven's Gate" on the list. "The Deadly Companions" isn't there either.
I also don't see "The Terror of Tiny Town" or "Billy the Kid Versus Dracula."
No "Pony Soldier." No "North West Mounted Police." What are we trying to do here, insult Canada? Oh well, it doesn't take much.
Nevertheless, since Dry Styx is my friend, I'll try to come up with a Top 20. 😁
EDIT -- Correction "North West Mounted Police" is there. I overlooked it. My bad.

What kind of lab experiment gone wrong excludes The Magnificent Seven from a poll about Westerns. Lots of bigger omissions than that one. Not really one of my faves tbh.

Define Western. Is Outland (1981) a Western?

Interesting that you leave out all of the spaghettis.
Why?

No Country For Old Men? Tombstone? No Country For Old Men 1/10. A story written solely as a spoiled brat's version of the classic film "Nightfall". Tombstone 3/10. Starts silly, with the usual Hollywood depiction of evil guys being demigods who wipe out an entire Mexican platoon without a single flaw.

Little Big Man 2/10, one of the worst Westerns ever Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid 4/10. The Magnificent Seven (1960) 8/10, almost made the list. Sorry, the OP list is severely lacking. My list is classic list. Your list isn't as dumb as some of the others, but as you can see, severely lacking in quality.

Bad Day at Black Rock 7/10. Pretty good, a bit slow, but good El Dorado 8/10, but Diamond and Mississippi were card cheats. A Fistful of Dollars 1/10 For a Few Dollars More 1/10 The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly 3/10 The Gunfighter 6/10 High Noon 8/10 The Magnificent Seven (1960, 2016) 8/10 Stagecoach 7/10 for the John Wayne one, 8/10 for the one with Red Buttons and Bing Crosby, 5/10 for the one with the country singers True Grit (2010, 1969) They're on the list, both 9/10

Define Western. Is Outland (1981) a Western? It's like HIGH NOON set in outer space, but for more it's not a "western", just like I don't think No Country for Old Men or Rancho Deluxe are westerns , certainly not in the traditional sense. But they are similar to the genre thematically, spiritually and even stylistically: not so so much Outland - it does have a sheriff, though. HUD, like No Country For Old Men, is a great film, but I don't think of it as a western. Neither do I classify THE MISFITS as a western. Soldier Blue and A Man Called Horse are westerns, so is THE GREY FOX, just. If I was going to out of the box I might throw Dead Man in as a western, cool film a great cast. And where do we classify Quentin Tarantino's DJANGO UNCHAINED and THE HATEFUL EIGHT?
