You seem to be a talented cook. Are you self-taught?

You seem to be a talented cook. Are you self-taught? You haven't tried my stuff! But yes, all self-taught. I decided a few weeks ago to make Sundays my treat days (no calorie counting) and make a dish from a different country each time. It's quite nice learning about different cuisines. Anything I should try from your part of the world? I already have a couple of ideas for next week - look for the quiz!

Well I’ve been eating kangaroo sausages, but there’s nothing to them. Just put them on a pan like any other sausages. I put American mustard and low sugar tomato sauce on them. Alongside that I have a cheesy cauliflower rice. But it’s hardly a treat. It’s a rather healthy meal. I guess something Australian would be a Vegemite toastie. You probably have had them with marmite. Much less elaborate than enchiladas (but much more sophisticated). Use a baguette or other bread roll, slice it lengthways and then butter it and put Vegemite on it, then add a lot of grated cheese on top. Then put it under the grill. I can’t find photos of it online, they only have closed sandwiches which isn’t right. Anyway that’s what we had in our tuck shop at school.
