They're in government, mate. Thanks. But how does that make it their fault?

Could you be confusing miles with kilometers? Or American gallons with Imperial.
If you are getting 30 miles to the gallon then Ash should expect 36
I thought we used imperial measurements?

Yeah petrol has increased. Property prices/rentals have increased I believe but still very high in general (I remember when I was in Germany a few years back I got a room in central Berlin for 200 Euros/month-impossible here in Australia). Electricity prices are due to double or close to it next year so Ive heard

I thought we used imperial measurements? Only when Trump was emperor.
Actually I cock up my calculations. A US gallon is only 80% of a British one, which means that Ash's motor should go 37.5 miles per gallon, not 36.

Electricity prices are due to double or close to it next year so Ive heard We're being warned about higher electric prices here in Florida and some people are claiming they're getting $500 monthly household bills, but I find that tough to believe. Mine was $230 last June, and was $270 this June so it's gone up but nothing crazy.

Time for an Elon Musk Boxabl Tiny Home. Then, life on Mars. Wait, I'll skip the Mars part. I rather enjoy earth (and Amurrica).

Oh yes, the money defo runs down quicker, and I have a pretty low maintenance life. Useless Tories. How's it their fault? Are you in all seriousness saying that the bad ideological Brexit deal has added nothing to the cost of living crisis? Has nothing to do with why we are bottom of the G20 countries in forecasted growth? Be serious, and accept that the Tories fucked up badly during the last decade.

I thought we used imperial measurements? Canada does, you don't I believe. I think a US gallon has about 3.5 litres compared to our 4.5 litres or somewhere along those lines.

We all live in the UK, but Monkey and I have noticed no change in the cost of living while you are crying poverty.
The problem isn't Brexit. It is that when circumstances some of us adapt, do what we can with what we have and as often as not end up better off as a result.
And then there is you. Everything is the fault of Brexit, the Tories and someone else.
Sad stuff Ash

Are you in all seriousness saying that something that happened a year and half ago lay dormant doing nothing and then all of a sudden in the last month sprung price rises on the whole world? Be serious, try to identify the real cause rather than the tired old stalking horses the Guardian sends you after.

This is true. "I don't like XYZ so when anything bad happens, I will blame XYZ". I think he's been spending too much time on the other board where they do that kind of thing all of the time and is slowly turning American.

So you are saying it has added "Nothing" to the cost of living despite taking billions per year out the economy? That is your stance? Seriously? Strange as I remember you saying it did but was okay as it was worth it. Which one is right?
