Mine hasn't. In fact it has probably fallen, due to me and mine being as cheap as chips. If we can't afford something we don't buy it. This is not as smug as it sounds. This electric internet thingy means that there is usually a bargain somewhere. Plus the mortgage is paid off and the kids launched. And it helps if the motor has a good wind behind it, but it will probably see us out. Power bills have gone through the roof, but the increases are livable.
Probably most of all, Madam and I are both pensioners. Not only do we get paid to stay alive, we have all the time in the world to find ways not to spend money.
As said, we are probably an unusual case.
So how about you guys?

I drive and eat, so yes.

We tend to drive less and eat cheaper. But as said, we are both retired, have time on our hands and can usually find an easier and less expensive way of doing things.

I too have quite a simple life (no car, no children, no giant house) so no, I haven't noticed anything.
I find it quite absurd that people, for example, who voluntarily bought a car with no guarantees over fuel prices should now moan about the fuel price and expect a handout. Hey, you know what, my Amazon shares went down last month - can I get a handout, please? No, bugger off.

I paid off my mortgage, so overall mines dropped dramatically.
Food, filling up the car, and electricity have gone up a lot. Had I not diligently worked on getting the mortgage paid my cost of living would've gone up significantly.

I couldn't get to work or any store on foot, and even with a bicycle I could only get to one supermarket. I don't disagree with you, I got a Honda Civic that gets 30 miles on a gallon of gas for exactly that reason, but having it is a necessity.

Oddly, you didn't mind when the taxpayers including myself were giving you a free handout for your University costs. Such a hypocrite.

Should be getting around 45 MPG on that, surely?

Do one.

Not by much. I gave up “shopping” years ago. I only buy what I need when I need it now.
The only type of store browsing I enjoy is in junk, antique, and second-hand stores and yard sales because you never know what you’ll find.

A freaking little work horse. I love mine. It has four doors so I can put the kids in but it's still small and gets good milage. Mines never broken down, it's reliable.
