I have provided evidence. Religion has helped me and many others. How is this evidence proved, within your own mindset. That can't possibly be evidence. There is evidence that religion has helped me and other people. I believe these people would not have been helped without religion.

Your point was to endorse religion to show what is right an wrong... No. My point was to defend religion against incorrect accusations.

I believe these people would not have been helped without religion. I don’t doubt this, but people can get the same help from other religions that don’t have the horror show component to it. You don’t have faith in Satan or Hell, an extra-biblical belief which has caused the suffering of millions for centuries, so what is in Christianity that attracts you?

Then I'm not sure on your point on the necessity of religion. I never said religion was necessary. Yet your message appears to be about endorsing its virtues.

One can prove from a historical perspective the impact of religion on community and the the world and also how it has been manipulated, yet anything else regarding the "belief" behind the religion is only in the mind of the beholder.

You want to oulaw religion? Good luck. Many people worldwide want religion. If you don't like religion, don't have one. I don't have to prove to you religion is a good thing. I don't have to convert you. Or change your mind. You don't seem objective. To the contrary, you seem extremely biased. No point in me debating a closed mind. Believe whatever you want.

Are you saying Christianity is worse than Islam, Judaism, Hinduism and Buddism? In some ways, yes. None of them including, Islam, has turned the natural human fear of death into a living nightmare for some people. You are not affected by this because you do what’s call “cafeteria religion” where you can pick and choose what you want to believe and not worry about the rest. In the meantime others, probably in your own local church, or where you used to go, are suffering mental issues because of it. A mother who believes fully in fundamentalist Christianity may have to chose between her church and her gay son.

I don’t care what churches do inside their churches. The RCC still treats women like there is something wrong with them but that’s their business. But when it’s pushed onto the public…and in the US, Christianity is being written into the laws…then it needs to be put back in its place. Tax religion like everything else instead of putting its stamp on our money.

What about the militant Fundamentalist Muslims? I don't see Christians going on a violent holy war murdering people, beheading people. What about Fundamentalist Muslims who behead women accused of adultery? What about Fundamentalist Muslims who throw acid in the face of women? What about the Muslims who murdered Jamal Khashoggi? What about the hit put out on Salman Rushdi? Causing him to go into hiding for years. What about ISIS and AL Queda?

Once again, that is like blaming the car because the driver is bad.
