NZ officially eliminate India with a 54 run win over Pakistan. England v West Indies is also an elimination game (England would be ahead of Saffers on NRR only with a 1 run loss or defeat with 2 balls or less to spare). If the West Indies do knock out England Australia will be dancing in the aisles with their only two serious threats both gone.
Cam Green is going under the knife and will miss the BGT. Smart move. Forgoing surgery to maybe be available for the last couple of tests in a reduced capacity is hardly a high percentage move.

And the West Indies are about to knock out England! They need 42 runs off 52 balls with 10 wickets in hand.
So that's it then. Australia will be the champions barring a monumental choke.

Windies a bit nervy, osing 4 late wickets, but win with 12 balls to spare. Full credit to them. Chased a reasonable England total in style courtesy of a century opening partnership. No sympathy for England. It was win or go home and they weren't good enough.

Looks like the semi finals will be Australia v South Africa and West Indies v New Zealand. Saffers will try hard but i can't see them getting over Australia. The other one's a coin flip though West Indies need a lot more to go right than NZ.

England lose 4 late wickets to cede control of the 2nd test to Pakistan. England trail Pakistan's 366 all out by 127 runs with just 4 wickets left in spite of 114 from Duckett. Some Jaime Smith magic required.

India 46 all out. Matt Henry with 5 and his 100th test wicket in the process. I'd say game over but it's India in India...

The Indian score card is beautiful. Kohli 0(9), Khan 0(3), KL Rahul 0(6), Jadeja 0(6), Ashwin: a primary. That is a pond full or magnificent ducks!

Saffer women about to knock Australia out of the World Cup. 14 needed off 30 balls with 8 wickets in hand. Not even South Africa could lose from here...

All over. Well done South Africa. Kept Australia to an inadequate total of 134 and then chased it down in style courtesy of 74no from 48 balls by Anekke Bosch. With very little to work with the Saffers have somehow put together a team who's consistently there or thereabouts in the Women's game. A team of super market workers and farmers. It's quite extraordinary.
Australian women stunned. As stunned as England after losing to the West Indies 2 days ago. Just like England they were completely outplayed by an unfancied rival. Both were timid batting first, seeming to think that if they batted their overs they'd score enough. They were wrong. Not too many people would have had South Africa, New Zealand or the West Indies on their Women's World T20 bingo card. One of them will lift the trophy.
