From Lost Horizon (1937). *Lots of great quotes in that one, but most of them are in longer dialogue sequences... best to just watch the entire film.
Lord Gainsford: Gentlemen, I give you a toast. Here's my hope that Robert Conway will find his Shangri-La. Here's my hope that we all find our Shangri-La.

From The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948):
Cody: You know, you've got to hand it to the Mexicans when if comes to swift justice. Once the Federales get their mitts on a criminal, they know just what to do with him. They hand him a shovel, tell him where to dig, when he's dug deep enough, they tell him to put the shovel down, smoke a cigarette, and say his prayers. In another five minutes, he's being covered over with the dirt he dug out.

This quote had me wishing we had a "Crying" vote to balance out the "LOL" one. This quote comes right near the end of the movie, and just thinking about it is making me tear up. :'(

Great line from an obscure film I doubt many have ever seen - Love Never Dies ((1921) - interesting silent film directed by King Vidor. It's on YT:
The mills of the gods grind slowly, but they grind exceeding fine.
*This means, essentially: Justice may be slow in coming, but it will come eventually.

From the excellent 1947 prison film, Brute Force, directed by Jules Dassin:
Dr. Walters: [addressing sadistic guard, Capt. Munsey (Hume Cronyn)] That's why you'll never resign from this prison. Where else would you find so many helpless flies to stick pins into?
Spencer: Driving along with such a dream doll beside me, I figured myself a pretty lucky guy. Flossie had looks, brains, and all the accessories. She was better than a deck with six aces. ... I wonder who Flossie's fleecing now?

A collection of some more of my favorites::
TEA AND SYMPATHY (Deborah Kerr): "Years from now, when you talk about this, and you will, be kind."
HUD (Melvyn Douglas): "Little by little the look of the country changes because of the men we admire."
THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK (Millie Perkins): “In spite of everything, I still believe people are really good at heart”
ON THE WATERFRONT (Marlon Brando): "You don't understand. I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am, let's face it."
THE GRADUATE (Dustin Hoffman): "Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me."
DOUBLE INDEMNITY (Fred MacMurray): "How could I have known that murder could sometimes smell like honeysuckle?"
REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE (Natalie Wood): "I love somebody. All the time I've been looking for someone to love me. And now I love somebody. And it's so easy. Why is it easy now?"
EAST OF EDEN (James Dean): "Man has a choice and it's a choice that makes him a man."
THE AMERICANIZATION OF EMILY (James Garner): "I don't want to know what's good, or bad, or true. I let God worry about the truth. I just want to know the momentary fact about things. Life isn't good, or bad, or true. It's merely factual, it's sensual, it's alive. My idea of living sensual facts are you, a home, a country, a world, a universe. In that order. I want to know what I am, not what I should be."
