I also saw an article reporting that Galactus is rumored as the villain.

According to scooper Daniel Richtman, the studio plans to meet with Driver again once the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes end.

He's ticking boxes and Marvel ain't one. Look who he is working with and the projects he chooses. They are wasting their time.

His first film was literally in a helmet worshiping Darth Vader's helmet and getting shot with an arrow by a man in a giant monkey costume. That's fine if he doesn't want to do a Marvel movie but chill with the Adam Christ hype, thanks.

Why they are obsessed with Adam Driver is beyond comprehension he's more Doctor Doom than Reed Richards and he isn't handsome in any way. If he says no it's because he knows he's too ugly for the MCU accept it find a pretty boy and move on.

Call me skeptical. I'm not a Fantastic Four loyalist with expectations so for me, the first film with Chris Evans, Jessica Alba, etc. is about as good as it's going to get. Maybe the 2025 movie will date that opinion badly, but the first one was a good mix of serious and camp. I learned from it that it's a difficult dynamic to put to film. Even the animated series premier (from the 90's) began with the FF explaining their origins to a TV crowd (i.e. a flashback).
Call me crazy but their dynamic needs no modernization. Except for making Sue less silly looking when she runs, I'm fine with the characters as they are. They could use the opportunity to introduce Reed Richards as he is in the comics. Just don't make him some young-looking prodigy.

Silly looking when she runs? Yes, have you ever seen the cartoon? I just watched it on Disney +. Look at the season 2 intro. Look at her arms flail when she runs. It's hilarious.
About 25 seconds in.

Working title might be "Blue Moon".
TEXT:
The site has also confirmed with sources that the plan at Marvel Studios is for "the First Family to make their debut in style by starting off with a grand cosmic adventure."
Galactus is still expected to be Fantastic Four's big bad, though we don't know whether Silver Surfer will appear.
It's previously been reported that Norrin Radd will be the focus of a "Special Presentation," though that's said to have come to a "standstill" as filmmaker Matt Shakman continues figuring out the reboot's story.
As of now, it appears Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn are a lock for Invisible Woman and the Human Torch respectively. When it comes to the leader of the team, Adam Driver (Star Wars), Jake Gyllenhaal (Spider-Man: Far From Home), and Matt Smith (Morbius) are both said to be in the mix for Mister Fantastic.
Antonio Banderas supposedly remains in the mix to star as Galactus, while Ebon Moss-Bachrach may end up playing the an unnamed Herald (The Fallen One and Terrax the Tamer are very real possibilities) or, considering the fact we're now hearing that unnamed character will be female, probably The Thing.

"I'm not so much looking at the other movies," Shakman said. "I'm looking at the comics themselves. I'm a huge comic book fan. I've been a big fan of the Fantastic Four since I was a kid. So going back to [Jack] Kirby and [Stan] Lee and [John] Byrne and following all the way up to what's happening, certainly Hickman and [Mark] Waid and Ryan North, what he's been doing. I'm trying to figure out who these characters are to me and how to bring them to life in the best possible way, and that's really where I've started and how I've approached it." comicbook.com/movies/news/fantastic-four-marvel-movie-mcu-comic-inspirations-matt-shakman/

Sounds like Pascal got it! Great actor with tons of charisma. I’m happy with this.
