Like when I get back home on the bike or today when I was gathering firewood from the garage, I go around to the side and pee. In all kinds of temperatures and seasons. When you gotta go, you gotta go. Best time is in the winter where when it hits and melts the snow just like the aliens acid blood going through layers. There is just something so liberating about it. Plus it saves water and I don't have to worry about the aim. I make sure no neighbors are around first and even if I was to get caught, not like I am flashing someone on purpose.
Anyone else do this or are you an uptight WASP where you feel like you just have to run for the toidy.

I love drainin' the ol' lizard out of doors in nature. Don't know why. Maybe it makes me feel free, like somehow, I'm openly violating norms (without exposing myself to others).

I've done that before and feel no shame or guilt about it. As long as I do it by a bush or tree away from civilization as much as possible.

Standing to pee is both a male privilege and a right.

Where’s the bit about forcing men to sit down? After a quick read I noticed that the issue in Brussels is that there are more toilet facilities for men than there are for women and people with disabilities and the link about Sweden is a question to which one of the replies is something like “you should check your sources”. This anti-Euro paranoia has to stop!

This anti-Euro paranoia has to stop! First, I'm not writing a thesis on the topic. I grabbed the first two headlines and they support my point.
The point is, there's actually a debate about it in the EU. In the U.S. it's not an issue.
Here's another one where German men had to actually go to court to protect their right to stand:

The German court case was more to do with a claim about urine damaging the marble floor but debate is fine in a democracy. When I was in facilities we put up signs asking men to take better aim when they pee and if they have problems with aiming I'd say they should sit down. Unless they're peeing outside of course.

Standing is an issue in Europe. It's not here. In that example it's about beastfeeding.

That's more about public peeing but I didn't know the French had an issue with breastfeeding. There was a funny 1970s TV series about a public urinal in a French village eventually causing a riot but all I can find is a trailer in German.

But nah, you'd never see anything like that in the U.S.

Public urinals are for men ONLY, so how can they argue the point is sexist, when nature/biology dictates how a male can pee.

It is just easier and more cost effective to build urinals for men to pee into. Women always have big queues to pee. Men can, depending on how many piss pots are available, but not like chicks.
