Honestly I felt it was meh.
Though the story was different, I had the exact experience I did with II.
Perhaps it's because my expectations were high.
For fuck sake, it's a popcorn movie aimed at children. Talk about the dumbing down of cinema. Do you ever watch good movies? Have you seen A FANTASTIC WOMAN? Or Come and See? Or NAVALNY? I watched SCREAM 6, BTW, it is crap. |

What happened to Thor. I thought Thor was suppose to be one of the Guardians now. Didn't he give up his throne to Valkyrie to be a Guardians. I haven't seen Thor Love & Thunder if the explanation is in it. . I've tried to watch it. It's too stupid. He pretty much just hitched a ride with them. Left the Guardians quite quickly |

Like I keep saying, I get enough real life in my real life. I want fantasy, Aliens, Gods, monsters... What was it...Superman & Lois. They've given Lois cancer this year. My sister said she can't take it. Isn't going to watch until that story ends. Mom died in 2019. Still too close. Sort of like the episode where Buffy's mom died aired within a month of my husband dying. It was hard. I don't need to live my life vicariously through watching people suffer pain & agony in a story. |

We shall see what director John Hillcoat can do with BLOOD MERIDIAN, but I am not holding my breath. Funny enough, Blood Meridian is one of my least favorite Cormac McCarthy novels. PS. What are some of the "good movies" you have seen recently? |
