But a price worth paying. Yeah true enough. You can't really love someone without the pain of sadness over their sorrows and your own if they are physically removed from you.
And the alternative is not having anyone to care about.

Politics aside, i had to reach out. My heart goes to you brother. Fuck politics, this is life shit. If i could id take you out to lunch (if you can eat) or atleast a cup of coffee. Sometimes the smallest gestures can mean the most. I love you brother. (No homo). "Fuck politics, this is life shit." Agree. Such a loss transcends all the partisan foolery. We need all the gestures of kindness possible. |

I'm going to bed now, just wanted you all to know I am extremely moved by the kindness and sincerity of the posters who have contributed to this thread. Your kind words, messages of love and condolences are much appreciated. Thank you very much. And thank you to all the posters who sent me heartfelt PMS, thank you for the kind things you wrote, and in one case, for what you shared with me. I'm so glad I shared my feelings here on the board. There a lot of good people here.

Monday morning has finally arrived. It's 6.07 pm and still pitch black outside. It's been a tough weekend filled with beautiful memories, but much sadness. Also, a foot and ankle problem of mine has flared up viciously and I have been terribly unwell and in awful pain. At times I didn't thought I would make it through to today. But I have, and I should able to see the doctor this morning. God willing, he will be able to do something to relieve the pain and kill the infection. So much to take care of with the estate and all. Please let me apologize to the posters whose PM's I have not had time to reply to yet, I will get back to you as soon as possible.
