I probably heard his name on the radio but forgot it. Actually, that video seems vaguely familiar, but I'm sure I saw it only once. I definitely don't remember seeing it a lot. But I definitely heard the song a lot, maybe later on '80s/oldies stations. One-hit wonder?

It seems he was primarily a behind-the-scenes musician and songwriter. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Hartman

When you see these videos and hear these songs, you think they'll live forever. In a sense, they do.

I dreamt that I was fighting with God and kept punching him in the face. God looked just like a regular bloke and seemed very upset, that I was so angry with him. Can't remember which one of us won though.

I dreamt that someone was making a movie based on somebody's life, and I had a lot of input into its production. At first, I was supposed to help follow a certain set criteria to make the movie, but as the dream progressed, I found myself changing things to make the story more interesting and unpredictable. The film set was in a desert with brown mesas all about. I didn't recognise anyone famous, or even who the biopic was supposed to be based on... until I changed it so heavily that it seemed more like MY life! Thanks to me, it became more and more experimental, like David Lynch-ish. The last thing I remember of the dream was me reaching into a glass jar full of dirt, bullets and coins, and demanding that this particular moment be incorporated into the movie.

Last night:
I am playing a detective in a play, which I get the impression is just a fundraiser for the community theater company that’s putting it on. Near the end my character has to point out all these clues (for a Poirot-like summation) and identify a member of the audience, who’s secretly another actor, as the killer.
Whew. Apparently that’s too much for me to do, because I forget half the clues and start making things up, hoping the audience won’t remember the “clues” weren’t mentioned before.
My director, who in real life was my director in the last play I was in, holds up a list of clues on what looks like parchment, trying to jog my memory. This works somewhat, but I realize I’m boring the audience and wrap the whole thing up.
I’m embarrassed, and I don’t think we actors even came out for bows.
The reason for this dream isn’t hard to figure out: I’m opening next month in An Inspector Calls (which is a drama rather than a whodunit but does have the titular inspector character), and I don’t think we have enough rehearsal time.

I don't remember what it was about, but I recall being groped under the blankets, and what really slayed me though was that it was someone who I saw on TV once on a show that ran from 2006 - 2008. No idea what she looks like now, but in my dream she 100% looked like she did in that one episode of that show. It was so weird.

ok, so, weird as always...
i was holding hands with David Paich of Toto (i've been listening to A LOT of Toto lately), and he looked like he did way back when they first started the band in '78...so anyway, we walk to this liquor store...and he picks a 6-pack of the cheapest, shitty beer you can buy (never saw the label, i just KNEW is was shit)....then some guy, apparently drunk or insane, starts yelling these incoherent things at David....then i wake up....

Last night: My mother and I are in New York City and we pass by the Times Square Toys ’R’ Us, which is closing. (In reality, it closed in 2015, killed by the Internet.) I say, Let’s go in again, just for old times’ sake (when I was a kid, we went there every time we went into the city). We go in and ride the glass elevator, but in this world the elevator is attached to a giant beam that swings it outside, over the city. I get worried: The store is closing, so maybe they’re not maintaining the elevator, and if this beam breaks, we’re doomed. I keep worrying until finally the elevator arrives at the top floor and we get out. The elevator drop-off spot looks like the top terminal (is this the right word?) of a ski lift. After getting out, I say, without no apparent awareness of what I was just thinking, “That was fun, let’s go see the dinosaur next!”
