It depends on how fundamentalist they are, that is how much do they really believe their own shit. The Church of England and most European denominations may as well be atheists. Most US Christian denominations are moribund too, so yeah, not much a problem now. The RCC around the world is weak. But there is a huge and very powerful set of Fundamentalist Christians who are already pushing their religion onto people. When Right Wing White Christians can trespass in the name of God to terrorize "pagans" and the fundies on this board back up that behavior as if that group of benign artists were hammering nails into Jesus' flesh, then more violence is not far away. I don't know why you think the number of terrorists or terror cells that exist matter in forming an opinion. That you could list some Christian ones means Christianity can produce it. It's just a matter of the preachers motiving the followers into violent action. And they speak with the voice of God. ITs just a fact that Islam is more violent than Christianity. This is true now and historically. You can jump onto this thread with whataboutism all you like, but the facts don't really care. Christianity is just as violent because it is the same God in the Koran as in the Bible. Maybe obey they Him better than Christians do.

Jews have the same God, so is Judaism also just as violent? According to the stories they told about themselves they were slaughtering entire tribes, including the children, with the exception of the virgins. They got raped. It’s in Bible. The commandment, “Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live,” has murdered thousands, mostly women, over the ages. The same God who told men to do that, and kill their children if the disobey, and to enslave, has his name all over the currency of the most powerful nation Earth. And just other day, some Christians in KY just threatened some folks who were minding their own business, calling them pagans. Well, I’m a pagan and don’t like the threats. So far, no Muslim has told I’m going to burn in Hell or cheated me out of money. It’s all been Christians. Are you a Christian?

To be fair and honest to religion you would need to add up the deaths through History in each faith's "name" to see which religions have been most honest to their claims to be religions of "peace". What we actually tend to talk about is not the religion or the faith involved, it's how elements of religions warp the teachings to excuse atrocities of commit them in the name of their God or Prophet.

Now to get back to the actual point are Jews as violent or prone to terrorism as Muslims? And I've told you about 675 times I'm an atheist.

They’ve have been war after war in the Middle East, you tell me. I know you’ve said you’re an atheist, I remember, but you always defend every shitty thing Christians do, so deep down, you’re more Christian than you realize.

Not in the USA. You don't have the variety that got bred over here. Folks were barely out of the Late Medieval period and it never got beyond that and we still have de facto witch-hunters active. Never turn your back on a snake. They ride into villages and slaughter all of the locals? Please, can we deal with reality? The Amish regularly pillage eastern Pennsylvania.

Do you know how many times I have heard,"...but Muslims are so peaceful"? It’s called sarcasm. It's interesting to see how a Muslim defends the Relion of Peace label. They should only use violence when attacked which is why killing innocent people after another person did something is acceptable. The teachings of Islam invite people to live a peaceful life based on theism, justice and purity. Therefore, peace in Islam is an eternal constitution. Even the nature of war in Islam is a defensive one, not an offensive one, because the principle of Islam is peace and coexistence, not conflict, violence and war. In many verses of the Qur'an, God has allowed Muslims to fight only for defense. Therefore, war in Islam is a secondary principle, not a primary one. www.scielo.cl/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&pid=S0718-92732020000300151#:~:text=The%20teachings%20of%20Islam%20invite,not%20conflict%2C%20violence%20and%20war.

According to the Islamic historical narrative, the prophet's career had two distinct phases. In Mecca his preaching was characterized by a strong impulse to pacifism, forbearance and peaceful coexistence with the disbelievers, combined with preaching on the nature of their sin, (principally, shirk), together with warnings of hell fire. It includes such famous verses as "For you is your religion, and for me is my religion." (Qur'an 109:6). This contrasts markedly with the second phase which took place after the forced migration to Medina, where Muhammad became as much of a political-military figure leading a campaign against the Meccans as a religious preacher. As such, the scholars have classified the verses of the Qur'an into "Meccan" and "Medinian" verses, as have modern academic scholars (though with further refinement). At certain times the doctrine of naskh (Abrogation) was employed by medieval Islamic scholars particularly widely to argue that since the more peaceful Meccan verses came to Muhammad first, they are abrogated or cancelled by the later Medinian verses. This was necessary because their interpretation of the later verses was that they sanctioned aggressive, expansionary warfare. A more extreme subset of scholars considered the verse of the sword (Quran 9:5) to have abrogated all peaceful verses. Islamic modernist and some modern academic scholars reject such interpretations, arguing that read carefully, the Medinan fighting verses are defensive or pre-emptive in nature in response to the aggression and treaty breaking of the Quraysh. For more information on these interpretations see Jihad in Islamic Law. Wikiislam.net

Christianity is just as violent because it is the same God in the Koran as in the Bible. Wow, that's quite a nonsequitur and a half, for sure! Add it up. No doubt Islam’s body count is large, but no more so than Christianity’s count, and remember Germany, which decided to go all Christian, has a huge bump between that and their Crusades, Inquisitions, pogroms, witch-hunts, heretics burns, and religious persecution of other Christians. For a while, Christianity did slow its pace after the Enlightenment, the notion that the separation of the state from the church was good idea. Plus Christianity had a 700 hundred year head start. Actually, Islam started out as an Ebonite Christian church, aka Judaizers.
