You might have a point with Guardians but Ant-Man, Black Widow, Black Panther and especially Dr. Strange are way more popular than Echo... even before their respective shows. You're literally comparing B and C tier heroes to possibly an E or F tier. Even among comicbook fans, Echo is an extremely obscure character. So were Jessica Jones, the Runaways and Cloak and Dagger. Jessica Jones is a lot more popular than Echo. Roughly about as well-known as Luke Cage or Moonknight. Runaways and Cloak and Dagger are more along the same tier as Echo, but that's also probably why those two shows have been dropped by the MCU. Both Agatha Harkness and Echo are ridiculously obscure characters, and while I have nothing against shows being made for them, it also makes me wonder why the MCU doesn't just focus on more popular characters like say Elektra or Enchantress.

Cloak and Dagger are not as obscure as Echo. Cloak and Dagger appeared in the Civil War story arc during the big fight and Cloak transported most of the combatants to elsewhere if memory serves me correctly. Plus I was aware of them from reading Marvel Encyclopaedias. Echo I was not aware about myself. But honestly, it doesn’t matter. They screw up better known characters such as Moon Knight and She Hulk so badly so who cares who they give a show? A list or D list superheroes, they all suck in Disney+.

So I'm watching this right now and I just want to make a shallow but valid criticism.
At the start of each episode they post a recap of the previous episode. At the end of each episode they post a teaser of the next few episodes. But why would they do that if they already released all the episodes anyway at the same time??
Recaps and teasers only make sense if they were doing weekly episodes. It seems unnecessary for this, especially when there's only 5 episodes anyway.

No, not really. Most everyone watched her show for David Tennant, not her. In fact, the general audience knew little about Luke and Moon Knight too so they're all in the same boat as Echo.

She-Hulk was one of the best adaptations, and it helped unveil a lot of fake fans.

Sorry dude, but you're just plain wrong. Your average comicbook geek knows of Luke Cage and Moonknight. They'll have childhood memories of reading about those characters prior to the internet. And they'll normally know of Jessica Jones because of her relationship with Luke Cage. But even hardcore comicbook fans would barely know Echo. That's the kind of character you'd really need to search on Google just to figure out who she is because you wouldn't be able to describe her purely from memory.

Those same people barely knew about Baron Zemo when Civil War came out in 2016 and assumed he was a made up villain for the movie. They didn't know who JJ and LC were.

Sorry dude, but you're just wrong (as usual). Most comicbook fans knew of the heroes for hire duo of Ironfist and Power Man (Luke Cage). Most knew Moonknight as the Batman equivalent of Marvel. A number knew of Jessica Jones because of her relationship with Luke Cage, especially due to their penchant for rough sex. But almost nobody knew who Echo was. She didn't have her own series, there was nothing notable about her, she didn't have any notable relationships with more popular characters, and she wasn't even weird enough to stand out (unlike say Groot or Rocket).

So this show started off ok (not strong, just decent) but I'm now in episode 3 and I have to say, it's surprisingly slow. Not a slow burn (which I actually like) but just dull and slow. Which is surprising given its supposed R rating. It feels like they're trying to stretch a fairly shallow storyline over multiple episodes. Hopefully it gets better but if there's only 5 episodes, not sure how much room it has to grow.
But hey, at least I managed to make it to episode 3 which is more than I can say for Secret Invasion.

Nope, they knew the names vaguely but didn't really know the characters, nor Moon Knight. Echo was as major a character as they were, appearing in Daredevil as much as she did and thus connected to both him and Kingpin.

You do realize that Luke Cage, Moonknight and Jessica Jones all had their own comicbook series right? Something that Echo didn't have. You're delusional if you consider those 3 just as obscure as someone like Echo.
