During the winter, the sun's rays hit the Earth at a shallow angle. These rays are more spread out, which minimizes the amount of energy that hits any given spot. Also, the long nights and short days prevent the Earth from warming up. Thus, we have winter That's only in the Northern Hemisphere....You Hemisphereist....

Amen This is what happens when you homeschool children: You get spelling bee champions who are complete social misfits who wouldnt last far out in the real world without offending someone or making them uncomfortable. I cringe everytime I watch this. Kid has to have Aspergers syndrome "Were you surprised that you won?" "Not really" PURE GOLD! That video was fucking painful.
