"UFO Science" Bit of an oxymoron there. Right, all those billions and billions (verified by Carl Sagan) of stars, planets and galaxies are just there for the scenery.

it sounds like someone has a alien anal probe coming in the new year at some point! Bend over, ‘cause it’s you.

Not matter what say, you can’t deny progress was made in the field of UFO science in 2023 because I just published it above. You would only have this belief if you were so extraordinarily naive about the subject and its history that the contents of that article were actually new to you. For people like me who have been following the science and investigations of UFO's for decades, we know that absolutely nothing noteworthy of any kind was discovered or unveiled during 2023. Period.

I don’t believe in it, I study it objectively. I am not looking for LGM, but reactions similar to yours, and progress has been made. And my opinion on the subject is as valid as yours. Until the Pentagon says what those things showing up in their billion dollar surveillance systems and seen by highly trained jet pilots are of human manufacture, they are still UFOs. What are they and where are they coming from? Let’s find out and not cock-block avenues of inquiry with typical ridicule. But I will concede your point, as you seem to need being right. It’s not that important to me. I thought it was an interesting article. Fuck me for trying to post something different.

And my opinion on the subject is as valid as yours. This is about facts, not opinions. If you really had been following this subject as well as you pretend, then you would know that there is not a single fact cited in that Salon article that is genuinely new or revealing. It's the same shit over and over again with no progress.
This is an interesting topic worth taking seriously. But when Salon and people like you jump up and down about nothing, it makes the subject look less worthy of serious attention. You actually hurt the project with shit like this.

The facts I was talking about are above. Did any of those events not happen? It is a serious article in that it reported on five items in 2023 UFO news. If you don’t think that’s progress, then write the editor.

This thread got six pages, so far. Not bad. I thought it would wane quickly away.

What are you sure of? That there is no other sentient life in the galaxy? That it would be impossible for aliens to travel across dozens or hundreds or thousands of light years to get here? That if aliens DID come here, they would certainly make themselves known? I don't think aliens have actually been here, mainly because according to our current understanding of the laws of physics interstellar travel is all but impossible, but I can't understand how anyone can dismiss the possibility out of hand. The thing is, our understanding of physics does allow for interstellar travel. And quite easily. We could make some self-replicating quasi robot that mines asteroids periodically. Even if it doesn't travel at the speed of light, there's nothing to say that it couldn't travel the universe. Like wise, we could have an AI pilot a self-repairing ship. We launched Voyager in the late 70s and it's already outside the Solar System. The problem is that people are close minded. Heck, we don't even have a "Theory of Everything" that unifies the four major forces of the UNiverse and how they act in regards to the Theory of Relativity. So faster than light proplsion very well may be feasible.
