I normally don't comment on the ME conflicts because 1 I don't know enough about them and 2 they can get pretty freaking hellish in the threads...

But realistically how can they do that? I could be wrong but weren't they advised by Israel to go South to avoid the War Zone? And that's what they did. Relocating multiple times until they got to Rafah. Rafah went from something like 250k/300k to over a 1milllion people. That's pretty concentrated. Now they can't go further south or west because their tents are literally on border walls and fences with the IDF and IAF about to commence an attack from North and East.

Unless IDF opens a corridor for the civilians to leave North or NE now... I don't know if that would be a good idea for IDF to do. I mean that might open them up to Hamas hiding in and under the civilians giving Hamas opportunity for attacks. Probably be sound military tactic not to open up a corridor for the civilians to go north. So Civilians and Children have to do what break into Egypt to escape? Doubt Egypt would allow that. 

Now that Rafah is really oversaturated with people I don't see how civilians/children get out or IDF/IAF minimize civilian/children causalities if and when the attack starts. 

Israel doesn’t aim at civilians.
