Should noodles be slurped or cut with a knife and fork? Spinning noodles on a fork or spoon is common. But should noodles be slurped or cut up?

TECHNICALLY 3rd. right? my granddad came over in 1952. my dad came over in 1968 at the age of 16. (back in the day a man could not file to immigrate his family until he himself became naturalized - normally 15 or so years). my dad became a citizen in 1971. he then went back to hong hong to marry my mom who became a citizen in 1973. i was popped out in 1974. i am an ABC (american born chinese) but i'd say i was 3rd generation American. is that how it works?

Culinary habits are always a good way of discerning nutters from normies.
You do not sip coffee with a straw. (*in fact, stop using straws period if you're a damn adult!)
You do not dip if you're an adult; you scoop.
You do not scoop if you're a kid; you dip.
You do not eat a slice of pizza using any kitchen utensil.
You do not "bite" or "chew" plain ice creams like vanilla, chocolate, etc.
You do not put ketchup on a steak.
And you do not cut noodles.

Edited to to be more abusive. i am totally a fruitball. why do you think i am a regular here? ;) I don't know why you're using a straw, but just stop. Our parents made us use those because we'd have had chocolate milk mustaches if we didn't. I knew a few girls here and there who read that if they sipped their colas and coffees through a straw, their teeth would yellow slower.
