At least four people are injured as a number of runaway horses - one seemingly covered in blood - race through central London. The horses are reportedly from the Household Cavalry, which works at Buckingham Palace. The ambulance service says it was called at 08:25 BST to reports of a person thrown from a horse near the Palace. A BBC reporter at the scene says a horse later hit a tour bus near Victoria station. The Metropolitan Police says: "We are aware of a number of horses on the loose in central London, we are working with colleagues in the Army to locate them" The City of London Police says two have been caught near Limehouse in east London - it's not known how many others are still on the loose. www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-england-london-68888725

Part of the training of a policeman used to involve restraining a runaway horse, but I dare say that has been replaced by compulsory attendance at ULEZ seminars.
We need more mounted police. I have just past the police station where the kids were feeding the horses apples and sandwiches that the horses rapidly converted into manure with the result of a good time being had by all. Much better PR than having Plod harassing muggers

To be fair to Khan, runaway horses have become a rarity but it would have been funny if these ones had crashed into a Just Stop Oil demo.

And this is the BBC's list of unanswered questions:
Typical stupid BBC avoiding the most obvious question - why is the horse covered in blood?
I seriously doubt this is an accident - I'd guess it was attacked - but they don't want to contemplate that, the useless scum.

Another reason why we need a republic. They still have horses in France and I think they got rid of their royals some time ago.

Walking? Which is it? Something not right here.

Meanwhile… Noise from builders caused horses to boltThe BBC understands that the noise of builders moving concrete in Belgravia caused horses from the Household Cavalry to bolt and unseat their riders while exercising this morning. The soldiers are now being assessed and the horses are being looked after by a vet.

Would it make someone a racist if they subconsciously after reading the OP alone thought it would be about Hamas demonstrations?

Five running horses, one of them white and covered in blood. The link to the BBC can explain it much better than I can.

The link to the BBC can explain it much better than I can. This just doesn't add up. And yet the video in the "link to the BBC" you quoted shows a bleeding horse with clearly no head injury - it's a chest injury.

That’s the thing. The average Brit wouldn’t have a clue how to rein in a wayward bronco. They’re all greenhorns.
