Just not Cricket. Poor Cricket she is unlovable. I feel like crying now.

She loves how being photographed with dogs makes her look.

To me it is a difference between cat owners & dog owners.
Dog owners are looking for something obedient. Do what it is ordered to. Cat owners see their cats as having various personalities like roommates. Call a dog? It comes running. Looking to please. Call a cat? Like most people, it decides if it feels like answering. They often look at one so you know they heard you.
I swear they speak telepathically. Thor will just sit there staring at me. Heavy sigh. Why doesn't she understand?

Try telling my wife that one. They've been doing the opposite to get a rise out of her

Noem named her ill-fated dog Cricket and spoke of it in terms of personhood. That she needed to not only personally kill that “dog-person,” which she sees as a piece of property, out of revenge, but had to confess it along with her self-righteousness about it…then continues to double down on her arrogance…indicates how she would treat a human-person in a similar power dynamic.

The above clip still has her framing it as a tough decision as in she can make hard choices. She isn't a soft mommy type. The bit on Kim is more enlightening. It is being removed from the book, but she won't say it didn't happen. Still selling the tough gal line.

Our cat routinely gets double dinners because she does her hungry howl to both me and my husband. "Oh, did you already feed her?" is the most common statement spoken in our home.

Seen the joke about the note on the fridge about "Don't feed the cat. She has been fed today" Mine come to me for treats, then go to my sister with a "no one has given me any treats today"

It's true enough for her
She sees dogs as more like males in general......... kinda dopey and very often in need of obedience training.
