If you like the Test Tube Babies you should check out the "Vaultage 78" and Vaultage 79 compilation albums from the local punk scene on the UK south coast at Brighton. Here's another band from that time and place. |

Here's another band from that time and place. Good song. Those Vaultage comps look interesting. I didn't know PTTB went as far back as 1978....Their song "The Jinx" came out as a single in 1983; it got played a lot on local college radio stations (where I discovered many great underground bands)...PTTB also appeared on some of the Oi! and Punk & Disorderly compilations alongside bands like The Exploited and GBH.... I always had them pegged as a cross between Oi! and UK82 style punk. |

n EP recorded in October 1980 during the Dead Kennedys UK tour, the London stage leads Jello Biafra late at night to ex-Mott The Hoople and Hybrid Kids Morgan Fisher with Adrian Borland (The Sound) & Christian Lunch.

Some more great Akron, Ohio post-punk/new wave circa late 70s.... Remember the comp album, think Stiff put it out over here. They bought a few bands over as well including Rachel Sweet. |
