I was at my fifth match of the season last night! QOS twice, local SOS donkeys preseason friendlies twice, and Killie last night. It was a better performance, and indeed match, than I expected but I suspect we will rue not getting the second goal when on top in the last twenty minutes or so.
Aberdeen were decent against Queens, but may not be much stronger than last year, especially if they lose Miovski.
ETA It has now belatedly occurred to me that preseason friendlies are by definition not part of the season! Ooops. They were both rather low on quality, and I got eaten alive by midges too, but I still sort of enjoyed them.

Anyway, on the football front (as opposed to the national front) my local SOS lads lost again, but are looking somewhat better than last season, and it was a lovely afternoon for it.
