Just seeing you got Kasper Schmeichel in. Great signing even at 37

Killie could claim to be unlucky on Thursday in that we lost to the softest penalty ever and an injury time fluke; but tbh I wasn't very impressed with what looked like a team playing for a 0-0, and one which had neither time or composure on the ball (10% possession in the second half!). Our teams just look so leaden, unimaginative and frankly rubbish when up against any remotely competent European side. If Killie score early in the return, and Copenhagen don't turn up, we may just have a chance but it's unlikely.

I'm not paying much attention (clearly), but have half an eye on Bodo/Glimt wiping the floor with Sarpsborg. They would piss all over any Scottish team, including Celtic. They can pass the ball quickly and accurately on the floor to their team-mates. We can't.

The real clash of the day is of course Montrose-QOS on Alba at 5.30. Be there or be square.

Dons win again to stay 2nd. Kilmarnock's rather unfortunate start to the year continues.

Should also say I love how enthusiastic Dundee United's fans are. Not sure there's many of them but they make a lot of noise. They seem to travel in numbers too.

Saturday's titanic struggle at Links Park wasn't especially titanic, as Queens never looked like scoring. The consensus down here in yokeldom is that they'd be clear title favourites if they had a regular goal-scorer, but that's a rather big "if". Bobby Wales would fit the bill, but I think Killie will be needing him.
