The coach of Zambia's women's football team is barred from having one-on-one contact with his players unless it's in public or a chaperone is present. That's because of ongoing accusations that he routinely demands sex from his players. Amazingly, he still hasn't been fired. I guess MeToo didn't make it to Zambia yet.

It is not clear that they are men. The NBC article mentions a DNA test, but that's not what other sources say. I read somewhere that they were banned from previous events for having a level of testosterone too high. They certainly don't look like women though. |

Canada's appeal to have the six-point penalty for spying on the opposition with a drone reversed or reduced has been denied. Now the Canadian women have to win their third match of the group (against Colombia) in order to have a chance to advance. That's this afternoon.

So the triathlon took place as planned, with the swimming portion in the Seine. Hopefully nobody will get sick! Gold went to a French woman and a British man.
