I only agree with the horse part. And I always believe speed walking is the lamest event of the olympics and should never ever return. |

I agree with the general principle of reducing the number of events. I find it especially aggravating that some sports give out tons of medals for what is essentially the same thing. I take exception to his suggestion of getting rid of volleyball and keeping only beach volleyball. I hope that doesn’t happen before Tegucigalpa 2064. Gotta say I find both versions of volleyball rather dull. Team sports should just be 86ed from the games. The IOC heard you and did the exact opposite! Five new team sports added for 2028 - cricket, baseball, softball, lacrosse and flag football(!!) |

Why is that majority of Olympic sports don't get this level attention outside of Olympics? I mean they do have athletic events but still they don't get this type of attention.
These sports seem entertaining enough. Why they have to wait 4 years to showcase them?
