Okay, I went back and watched that episode. I don't agree with you. There are usually two sides to the story. She had sympathy for the parents, and the predicament they were in. Yeah, she was wrong. And Jack was correct. But she has the right to voice her opinion. And in the end, she did her job and helped convict the parents and molesting celebrity. Those parents were human scum. Having sympathy for sick fucks who let a pedo pay them to rape their son was just a major turn off to me for Serena. Those people were irredeemable trash. So? So what? Serena did her job and helped convict them. What else do you want?

This wasn’t the first time Serena felt sympathy for defendants who weren’t very sympathetic IMO, and Arthur Branch eventually fired her for being too sympathetic to defendants.

I do not agree she should have been fired. Sabrina has 1rst Amendment Rights just like you and I do. She has the right to freedom of thought and expression. As long as she does her job well, that has nothing to do with her job. She wasn't not doing her job. She wasn't breaking the law. How would you like to get fired because your boss didn't like your politics? Even though you are a good worker?

In her last episode, it was clear she was rooting for the defendant to be acquitted. I completely understood why Branch fired her - her goals weren’t in line with the goals of the DA’s office.

Law and Order Season 23 will premiere January 18 on NBC! I look forward to it, I’ve enjoyed the new L&O pretty good, it hasn’t reached the level of greatness that the original run did but it’s still good. They’ll have a new detective this year as actor Reid Scott had been cast to replace Jeffrey Donovan’s Detective Cosgrove, don’t know what the new detective’s name is yet. Rest of the cast is the same. I look forward to seeing Sam Waterston as Jack McCoy again.
