And liberals and Democrats (is there a difference) just want to look the other way. But if a white cop shoots a black man those same liberals and Democrats want a full investigation no matter how justified the shooting was. Hypocrites each and everyone of them. I guess I should have just stopped after that first sentence then! But I had to go on because I have a particular pet peeve with people who quote data studies. There is a whole lot of research you need to do to know if the study is legit or not, something the NYT, CNN and the WashPo never do when the results fit the narrative. |

As to the issue of immigrants, it is as I pointed out many years ago, that the Dream Act is merely a means of getting immigrants to step forward so that they can be identified and deported. As I pointed out before that the Dream Act would only last until the next Republican president. Therefore the government cannot be trusted to honer any agreement on any long term basis because all agreements with the government up to and including the Constitution itself are only temporary. Both Congress and the House of Representatives cannot be counted on to uphold the Constitution of the United States. Neither is there any mechanism for forcing Congress or the House of Representatives to uphold the Constitution of the United States or any of the freedoms it guarantees. For that reason, it may well be that all American citizens may lose their freedoms and rights under this president. Congress cannot even impeach this president despite his numerous crimes so what makes anyone think that Trump will step down at the end of his term in office or when another president is elected. Likewise there is no mechanism for ensuring that the president will uphold the Constitution of the United States. Because nearly all aspects of the U.S. government are based around traditions and not any actual enforceable rules. So it is actually an act of blind faith to trust the U.S. government to uphold any agreements it has with it's citizens, even agreements such as the Constitution. If the U.S. government won't even do right by it's own citizens, how much less can the U.S. government be trusted to honer any agreement with any foreign government or nation while this president is in office. |

First off, the DREAM Act is a legislative policy, labeled of course, with a euphemistic acronym to disguise what it really is, a pathway to citizenship for those illegals identified under this ACT (now called Dreamers, oh how nice), and has evolved into what Democrats now demand as a pathway to citizenship for all their relatives too and still other illegals. I can believe that it was genuine in it's intent , but misguided. If you say that some that would step forward could be deported under this Act, this is true, but they could only be deported if they didn't adhere to the provisions of the "agreement", as you call it. And by itself, this act doesn't fix any of the issues of illegal immigration. Thankfully, although numerous attempts have been made, it has never been passed to become law.
Nonetheless, President Obama implemented his DACA policy through Executive action, not by Congress. In this, the Obama administration basically enacted the DREAM Act unilaterally (never passed by Congress) by refusing to deport undocumented immigrants who match certain criteria included in the proposed DREAM Act. He then tried to expand the bounds of the DREAM Act by attempting to include even more illegal aliens, was promptly sued and blocked from doing so. That's our Constitution working properly.
But then you go on to say that Congress is not upholding the Constitution, which is incorrect, make accusations against Republicans for the very things the Democrats (and Obama) do/did. You act as if there is law and policy in place where there is not. Therefore, there is no binding agreement. You talk about Americans losing their freedoms due to this President, when the opposite is true. You mention numerous crimes where there are NONE and then state that Trump would never leave office anyway as if he is some corrupt, power hungry mad dictator, when in fact that's more akin to how Obama acted with his weaponized DOJ & FBI. The Constitution would be dead if HRC had been elected. Her Supreme Court pick would have ensured it because everything they wanted to do, every policy like open borders, would have been approved at that level.

Now you are just splitting hairs, nearly every aspect of the U.S. government has failed under this administration. It is a house of cards ready to fall. And what then? It is left to anyone's guess if Russia or China will step in and take over when the last remnants of the U.S. government have fallen under the mismanagement of the Trump administration. You are too blind to see it coming, that the United States will fall just like the Soviet Union did. Likewise the top elite 1% most wealthy of the U.S. will continue to mismanage the resources left behind until some other nation steps forward and intervenes or the citizens step up and recreate a new government much the same way Russia did. That is the logical conclusion to allowing the Trump administration to continue to destroy everything that America originally stood for. More than half of all the registered voters in America refused to vote in the 2016 election which will eventually lead to the lose of freedoms and rights of all American citizens. When they didn't vote, they gave up those freedoms and rights, and there will not be another chance to get those rights and freedoms back. Like Brexit it is done and it is final. There are no do overs, no second chances, that was it. The consequences of your decisions and actions are final and cannot be undone. There is no more Hillary Clinton, there is no more Obama, there is nobody left to blame but yourselves. You may as well come to terms with that fact that you all made a series of bad decisions that will eventually result in the end of the United States as a world power. |

Public schooling costs over $15,000 per student per year on average. Sanctuary cities spend far more. Students who don’t speak English cost much more.
