Absolutely you can decouple. People like you hate religion because of what religious organizations have done. Otherwise you wouldn't be on such a crusade against religion. But since YOU WON'T DECOUPLE, you don't realize you personally have no problem with religion, your problem is with organized religion. If you believe in Christianity and its dogma, then you are institutionalized whether you officially have a membership. You were baptized, I’m assuming. If so, you belong to the Church Universal.
