I was hoping you'd say something like this.

When you kill someone in self-defence, you react to something that person did.
When you kill someone in a robbery you initiated, you initiated the action that caused the person's death.

So in the first case, the death is considered a consequence of an action initiated by the dead person; in the second case, it's the consequence of an action initiated by you.
You can't punish a dead person, so in the first case, you walk free. Not so in the second case.

But we don't even have to consider this tangent to show that you proved my point.

Let's look at your sentence from a previous post again.
The victims of alopecia could have chosen to wear a wig or hair implants. Then they would not have stood out too much.
Yet, some women with alopecia made a conscious choice to go bald. And you have beautifully illustrated what happens to women who make a conscious choice to go bald:
Somebody uses a picture of them, and posts it on discussion boards with a caption like "this is what a cult looks like".
In this case, that somebody was you.

And it didn't matter to you that the women's baldness in your OP picture was a consequence of alopecia or an election; because of their choice to go bald, you considered them fair game for shaming.

So again: Thanks for proving me right.

That is an excellent defense of me using a stock picture of bald women in the OP. According to you, Bald is bald. The motivation of the subjects doesn’t matter.
