You threatened to kill your 15-year-old self.

People nowadays are too sensitive. Nowadays? Can you remember a time when talking about killing or harming yourself to random strangers was common? I don't.

Was just on Twitter. Saw a post asking if you were 15 again, what would you tell your younger self? I replied I’d tell 15-yo me to off myself then and there, as life has only gotten worse for me. (And while 4 more years of Trump plays a very minuscule role in that, remember it’s still a very teeny-tiny portion. I have an abundance of other circumstances that led me to this conclusion.) As soon as I sent it, I got notified it is against TOS to threaten others and my account is now locked for a week. My 1st time in Twitter jail and I’ve no idea who and how I’m threatening/wishing death on other posters. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?? It was an immediate (and automated) response. Certain words are picked up and immediately flagged and the AI, database, or whatever isn't smart enough to realize you didn't just tell a teenager to go kill him/herself.

That's why we need to talk in code. Next time she should say something like "take the deep six" or "swallow the big black pill" or something like that, something the bots haven't gotten wise to yet.

Yeah, the bots picking up on potential threats or suicidal behavior is the issues here...

Maybe try blue sky. Lots of self loathing and hating everything in the world going on there (a lib utopia). Did she write something that indicated she was self loathing or hated everything? Other than wanting herself to be dead, I reckon not.

They are required by law to report any suicide threats, which is what this is. Of course, suicide threats are usually just hollow cries for attention, which is what I hope this is, but by law they must take steps. And the fact that you call it a "conclusion" implies that you still hold this belief. Seriously. Seek help. Call the suicide hotline. Schedule a talk with a therapist. Join a forum for depression. Start a new hobby. It's clear that you are not in a good place right now and need to take steps to overcome this.

Okay so their bits pick up a potential suicide risk and just blocks the person from using their account (which could add to their present mental state) rather than including helpful advice. Unless Foxy is contacted by the authorities I’m guessing they’re not reporting it and just want the sute to be a happy place.

Well, if I had a website, I would for sure make telling 15 year olds that they should kill themselves to be off limits.
I don't think anyone's ever been blocked from social media and had their mental health not improve. It sounds like social media was why she was posting such a statement to begin with.

My guess the thing about suicide tripped the moderator bot. Twitter doesn't have enough employees to physically check every post from a billion people.
You can complain. Or, better yet, leave the platform. It's for retards.

Telling anyone to off themselves should be off limits but telling your past self to do that is a different matter. Perhaps the software needs a bit of work done.

It is against TOS to threaten others. I'm sorry Foxy, but I will have to ban you for a week.
I hope not. But, I *am* glad all of IMDB1's finest are convinced time travel is a real thing, and a possible threat is now posed to your younger selves.
