Well, if I had a website, I would for sure make telling 15 year olds that they should kill themselves to be off limits.
I don't think anyone's ever been blocked from social media and had their mental health not improve. It sounds like social media was why she was posting such a statement to begin with.
Telling anyone to off themselves should be off limits but telling your past self to do that is a different matter. Perhaps the software needs a bit of work done. She's saying in a public forum that she wishes that she should have killed herself when she was 15. If someone was saying that in the town square, you'd have concern. At the very least they'd have to leave for disturbing the peace. |

Advising impressionable 15 year olds to kill themselves when asked a question regarding what she would do at their age is a bit more than a software needing an update. Again you don't ever think of the bigger picture. |

If she said it to people she’s in a conversational group with she’d probably be offered comfort along with the usual suicide is for cowards nonsense. If she stood on a soapbox and shouted it out she could be done for disturbing the police. But in the end this was simply a reply to a question that went darker than most people would expect. I caused a bit of concern on V2 when I said in a conversation that I think about suicide almost every day. I’m not actually planning to commit suicide. |

Was just on Twitter. Saw a post asking if you were 15 again, what would you tell your younger self? I replied I’d tell 15-yo me to off myself then and there, as life has only gotten worse for me. (And while 4 more years of Trump plays a very minuscule role in that, remember it’s still a very teeny-tiny portion. I have an abundance of other circumstances that led me to this conclusion.) As soon as I sent it, I got notified it is against TOS to threaten others and my account is now locked for a week. My 1st time in Twitter jail and I’ve no idea who and how I’m threatening/wishing death on other posters. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?? I know EXACTLY how you feel. Our lives go gray from the struggle, and you start to feel like, what's the point? But still we slog on, even though everything feels pointless. It's a terrible, hopeless feeling.
