Brits had access to US factories  - via Tizard Mission deal .The island of UK was very important to the defeat of Germany( it was like a massive aircraft carrier that the Allies could launch bombing missions and fighters to Europe- providing TOTAL air superiority)

Battle wise .Russian in manpower and sacrifice of thier armies and civilians were most influential that way( e.g. Stalingrad,Kursk)

Brits as far as breaking enigma helped guarantee victory and all their tech to the US( Cavity Magnetron ,self sealing tanks)

But Nobody for a minute should downplay the US's role.  The  Americans provided vital supplies to both Russia and Britian( especially the UK due to liberty ships across the Atlantic)

Churchill said the only thing that truly frightened him was the U boats( sinking liberty ships full of fuel , food and supplies.)

the UK came close to very close to being unable to continue the war from those U boats having a field day sinking ships.

 Americans were heavily fighting a TWO front war and developed nuclear weapons( british theories did help in that regard)

US's limitless resources were probably more important than anything else. Nazis had little resources, and ditto for Japanese( which is why they invaded all those islands- for the oil)

Still it was a group effort. Stalingrad pretty much sealed Germany's fate as did the Turing(  with a little help of Poles from the 1930s) breaking WW2 Enigma 3 and 4 dial codes, but the US was a juggernaut- "A Sleeping Giant" as Adm Yamamoto was quoted in saying.

Not to mention Patton was a phenomenal field commander( His Third Army has advanced further and faster than any army in history).- easily among the best of that war with Erich von Mansteins genius strategy of the Battle of France

It was very much a joint enterprise.

Without American and British help the Russians would have had to capitulate, withdrawing behind the Urals and ceding European Russia.

Without American help the British could not have continued an aggressive war and would have had to withdraw to the British Isles, becoming sidelined and irrelevant.

Without Britain, Germany could not have been invaded and destroyed.

Russians were the most influential.

Then Brits.

Then Americans.

...Don't think anyone would really argue with that...Although you could be mean and say that Russia got what they deserved for being two faced bastards.
Also, being an Island was a great help for us.

lets not forget the French fighting a delaying action to help the Brits to escape from Dunkirk despite being massively overrun by the Germans during the Battle of France.( saving 400,000 brit and french soldiers from being captured)
