They should refer to it properly (Down's Syndrome) instead of using a belittler.

Cut the bullshit and just go back to Mongoloid! Really good. What's lolworthy is that they changed the named from Down's syndrome to Down syndrome because they were worried people would think Dr. Down had the syndrome.

It does not matter a toss if they are called Downs Syndrome, Mongs or whatever, the important point is that they are getting extra help, and anyone who objects to that is shit in an iron bucket.

Well that's the difference between the U.S. and Britain. In the U.S. Republicans would be attacking this proposal and they'd whine about bankrupting the government and "special rights" for mongoloids.

Same argument applies to abortion.

They should refer to it properly (Down's Syndrome) instead of using a belittler. Down's Syndrome can be detected early in a pregnancy. Richard Dawkins made controversial comments about how it was "immoral" not to terminate a pregnancy if Down's Syndrome is detected. www.theguardian.com/science/2014/aug/21/richard-dawkins-immoral-not-to-abort-a-downs-syndrome-foetusHe later apologized to the woman for causing her distress but he did not change his position. He stated that it is best for the family. His comments were meant to prevent suffering. Search for "Richard Dawkins Down's Syndrome" if you want more info on his opinion. Was Richard Dawkins correct? Not sure if people are using a "belittler" or just informal speech. What are you going to do with a mongoloid? It must be very trying to raise that potato head. I'm not sure why the op posted this on the "Pleasant Conversation" board. I hope my reply was pleasant.

You speak for no one but yourself desperately trying to be edgy per usual.

You're desperate and your bigotry is disgusting and stupid. No one says "Mongoloid" in the U.S. and there have been laws on the books for decades which appropriately protect the genetically and developmentally disabled, the passage of which from bill to law were protested by no one.

I remember that Wildmanwizard was an advocate for those afflicted with DS. He’d be happy about this.

Nah, it sounds like you're desperate to pick a fight over nothing. But yes, Republicans will try to control the budget and an act like this might very well have been cut from a spending bill.
As for your PC concerns about a word:

Again, pure fiction from you and a song that's from the 70s proves nothing but your irrelevant frame of reference.
