Well of course not. But do you think today's species will somehow rapidly adapt to new fast-arriving conditions or do you see them dying out and new ones coming along maybe a few millennia later (with a nice almost lifeless place in the interim, of course)? I'd think the latter so, while it might not be the end of the world, it's highly likely to be the end of their world. I am not such a shit that I would sit idly by not caring about that. |

The very idea that you believe you can keep the planet in a sort of stasis where nothing changes, or changes too quickly, is preposterous.
If you wanna waste your own time & money in that foolishness, have at 'er. But leave others out of it.

The idea that you are unwilling to try to exist in a way that keeps things stable to prevent mass deaths of other species is horribly selfish and a disgrace to all things living. And no, I will not leave others out of it. A dead Earth is no use to any species, including us. So, stand idly by during all of the death all you want (I wish you wouldn't), but leave others with consciences out of that. |
