I am very much looking forward to this, although I wonder if Napoleon's life story can really fit into a single movie without harming the pacing of the narrative. Ridley Scott can be hit and miss with his blockbusters too.

It’s a shame Daniel Day Lewis is (supposedly) retired: he’d have had the commitment to take 8 inches off his height and 20 years off his age for this. We’d have found him living as a cheese monger in the French countryside for research. Well, Bale is pretty committed to his craft too ie The Machinist
